img_1681.jpgThe rain continued
On and on as if the Ark were due.
Considering their options,
Two adventurous pint-sized damsels
Weighed the worth of grabbing a book
Or, instead, chancing the deluge.

To get drenched or not?

How could they resist new
Plastic rain gear,
Fashioned like frogs
In spiffy green and blue
Not to mention
Oversized boots
Ideal for the ultimate stomp.

Their motto,
Never lose the momentum
Always expect the unexpected,
A raindrop in your eye,
a sunbeam on your shoulder,

But best of all a twee baby frog jumping
To and fro over four rubber sloggers.

‘Where is he from , not outer space we know that.”

“Then why is he here?”

“Good question, ask him.”

“Do you speak Frog?”

“No, do you talkTurkey.”

“Never mind, Silly, we’ll just never know.”

With that,
In unison, the three crooked
“Ribbit”
And rode on a giggle
All the way home.
